Woodford Reserve Distillery (Versailles, KY) has introduced a wheat whiskey that adds to its already outstanding portfolio of bourbons and other whiskeys.
This distillery uses wheat as the primary grain in a mash bill that contains 52% wheat, 20% malt, 20% corn and 8% rye. Woodford Reserve describes this whiskey as fruit-forward with notes of spicy applesauce, toasted coconut, earthy mint and cocoa nibs.
