The deadline for the top award in thoroughbred writing is fast-approaching. The Dr. Tony Ryan Book Award, which has been awarded annually since 2006, honors the best in thoroughbred writing and the deadline is December 31, 2017. The author of the winning book will receive $10,000 and a trophy, while other finalists will receive $1,000 and a trophy.
